I was born to a couple who were in a band together in 1973. (Mom is the hot blond in the black choker and dad is the wide eyed black haired guy directly behind her to the right.) Both my parents hold music as a family value. I began to learn guitar at age 14 and to accompany with my own vocals. Having a love of music encouraged my love for the arts in general. Good times and the telling of them is not only a family trait, but has become a natural talent. After having my first child, a friend of mine loaned me her very nice film camera for a couple of years. I photographed as often as I could. Many years went by before I could purchase my own nice camera. Getting pretty good with a point and shoot, a friend of a friend who is a photographer noticed my photos. He encouraged me to invest in a camera that I would have fun with. Peter MacDonald; 20 year photo journalist, took me under his wing and got me into my first music gig where I met Jerry Girard; author of "Must Of Got Lost". With my tax return in 2007, I purchased my Nikon digital with a few lenses and some other fun accessories. That first show was Danny Klein's Full House. Danny Klein; J. Giles Ace on Bass. I met and dated the front man, lead vocalist and percussionist Michael Lamm. Not only did I have the first great relationship I ever had, I had the privilege to get my feet wet with some of the greatest musicians in Rock. Although that relationship didn't work out, I was able to make some great friends in the biz, and my work continues.
